Two polarities.
One framework.

Polarity Work explores human experience through the masculine and feminine: two complementary capacities that exist within every person.

Direction and receptivity. Structure and emergence. Boundaries and connection.

These are not fixed identities or rules about gender. They are a framework for understanding how we meet ourselves, relate to others, and create.

The work is to recognize how these capacities are expressed, where they become restrictive, and how they can develop together.

See what is happening beneath the surface.

Our behaviors are not isolated events. They are expressions of deeper patterns, developmental histories, and ways of responding to the world.

Polarity offers a map for exploring these patterns: how masculine and feminine qualities express themselves, how they become healthy or restrictive, and how our inner child and adult influence the way we respond.

The aim isn't to label yourself. It's to see yourself more clearly and discover what becomes possible when you do.

From understanding to practice.

Polarity Work brings the framework into experience through self-inquiry, breath, movement, and communication.

The method rests on three foundations: Regulation, Healing, and Play. Regulation develops the capacity to stay present with what we experience. Healing explores the beliefs and protective patterns that shape our responses. Play makes room for curiosity, desire, and new possibilities.

These foundations guide both individual and relational practice. The aim is to develop the capacity to respond, rather than rely only on intellectual understanding.

Regulation

Develop the capacity to stay present with what we experience.

Healing

Explore the beliefs and protective patterns that shape our responses.

Play

Make room for curiosity, desire, and new possibilities.

The work happens within us and between us.

We explore the relationship between our own masculine and feminine capacities: how they support each other, where they conflict, and which qualities we may have neglected or learned to suppress.

Relationships bring our patterns into contact. We can explore how two people's responses interact, how conflict develops, and how a different way of meeting one another can change the dynamic.

A relationship doesn't exist to complete us. It can become a space in which we learn about ourselves, develop new capacities, and create something together.

A growing collection of writing, conversations, and guided practices on the masculine and feminine, their healthy and restrictive expressions, and the relationship between inner development and relational experience.

The writing explains the framework. The practices invite you to explore it through direct experience. Together, they connect the ideas of Polarity Work with the way we live and relate.

Yev and Shaked. Masculine and feminine development.

We are developing Polarity Work as a philosophy and method for exploring the masculine and feminine within ourselves and in relationship.

Yev's work focuses on masculine development: presence, direction, and purpose. Shaked's work focuses on feminine development: embodiment, feeling, and expression.

These are areas of focus, not fixed roles. Both perspectives contribute to a shared framework for understanding our patterns, developing our capacities, and bringing that understanding into practice.
